Description:
|
A listener can hear the difference in the strummings;
the first is "softer" than the second. The second sounds more "tinny"
because it has different harmonics than the first; the two different strumming
positions generate different standing waves in the higher harmonics. The
lower (fundamental) pitches are the same.
