Capacitor w/Dielectric Sheets

PIRA 5C20.10

Description:

Dielectrics inserted between the plates of a capacitor will make the capacitance go up. This is because the dielectric causes the voltage to go down.

Notes:

This one is hard to do, especially if the sheets get charged.

The photometer measures the voltage. Thus the reading will go down when the sheet is inserted meaning the capacitance goes up.
