Dr. Thonhauser named a Ranlet and Frank Bell Jr. Fellow for 2011-2013
For his excellence in teaching and research, Dr. Timo Thonhauser, Assistant Professor of Physics, has been awarded a faculty fellowship - the Ranlet and Frank Bell Jr. Fellowship for 2011 - 2013. This fellowship is sponsored through private donors, who wish to support faculty members teaching about or conducting research on the environment. The selected faculty are also known as Environmental Resources Faculty Fellows. Dr. Thonhauser is conducting research related to energy and the environment through his work on developing novel hydrogen-storage materials and new approaches for modeling water. Congratulations to Prof. Thonhauser for this award!
