On Wednesday, July 25, 2012, the Department of Physics held a reception in honor of Wanyi Nie, who successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis entitled: "Organic Photovoltaic Device Optimization". Dr Nie's thesis was completed under the direction of Professor David Carroll.
