Prof. Cho is Featured in Media

Profs. Cho (Department of Physics) and Pauca (Department of Computer Science) organized a computational thinking workshop for teachers at Hanes Magnet School. The workshop was generously supported by Google, Wake Forest University Depts. of Physics and Computer Science, The Center of Excellence for Research, Teaching, and Learning at Wake Forest School of Medicine, and Cengage Learning. Their official website is here: http://csweb.cs.wfu.edu/wakeathanes/index.html

Recently Mashable and the Huffington Post selected Wake Forest University as one of the "Top Ten Colleges for Tech" and cited the workshop as one of the main reasons: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/unigo/top-10-wired-campuses_b_1861160.html#slide=1440332

Also, Fox 8 News interviewed Wake Forest graduate and undergraduate students who participated in the workshop, as well as a Hanes Magnet School Spanish teacher who incorporated the workshop into her existing curriculum with impressive results: http://myfox8.com/2012/09/21/buckley-report-computers-in-middle-school/
