Kim-Shapiro Group Members Win Awards at Conference
 The Kim-Shaprio group attended the Fifth International Meeting on the Role of Nitrite and Nitrate in Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Therapeutics May 4-5, 2013 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Research Professor Swati Basu, Postdoc Christine Helms and graduate student Chen Liu won travel awards and Christine's abstract was selected for an oral presentation. The meeting covered the most scientifically novel topics in the field of nitrite signaling, biochemistry and therapeutics. Congratulations to all!
