Professor Carroll named APS Fellow
Professor of Physics David Carroll was recently named a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). The criterion for election is exceptional contributions to the field of physics. Fellowship is a distinct honor signifying recognition by one's professional peers. Professor Carroll was nominated by the APS Division of Materials Physics for pioneering studies in determining the electronic structure of nanoscale materials and their defects and interfaces through the use of scanning probes leading to applications in electroactive polymer nanocomposites.
