Undergraduate Student Angela Harper
selected as a Goldwater Scholar
Congratulations to Angela Harper, a junior Physics major in the Physics Department, who was awarded a Goldwater Scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year. Angela has worked for Profs. Jacque Fetrow and Oana Jurchescu (separately), and is working this summer at Cornell University with Prof. Paulette Clancy, performing computer simulations on solar cells. The Goldwater Foundation received 1150 nominations for the 2016 competition, and 252 Scholars were named in March 2016. Angela's award has been highlighted in this WFU news story.
