Matthew Walb
Graduate Student Matthew Walb received the 2015 Mike and Lucy Robbins Graduate Scholarship Fund Award. This award is given annually to one graduate student conducting cancer-related research and is based on academic ability, including outstanding academic and research expertise, demonstrated leadership, outstanding interpersonal skills and a commitment to the ideals of excellence in academic research.

Matthew studies the carcinogenic risks of low dose radiation, specifically on lung tumorigenesis. His work is performed under the direction of Dr. Michael Munley.
