ABSTRACT

Discouraged from pursuing a career in science as a young girl, Dr. Berebichez persevered against the odds to become the first Mexican woman to obtain her Ph.D. in physics from Stanford University. Come hear Dr. Berebichez speak about her journey, and how she makes a daily connection to her work to see the world through 'physics glasses.'
